The 15th Anniversary Kickoff Party for the Hill Country Ride for Aids will be Jan 23rd from 7pm to 9pm in the lobby of the Zach Theatre. Get revved up for the 15th Annual Hill Country Ride for AIDS on April 26 with a party celebrating the good work accomplished by this event. Join the party for music, announcements, appetizers and a cash bar. And to celebrate 15 years of amazing work to help save lives, from now until the Kickoff Party registration will only be $15. The 4th Annual Austin Gorilla Run will be this Saturday, Jan 25th at 9am starting at the Mueller Browning Hangar (4550 Mueller Blvd. Austin, TX 78723). The Austin Gorilla Run is a charity run that makes a difference by being different. Everyone who takes part wears a full gorilla costume, which is included with entry fee and is yours to keep. All participants are helping to raise funds for the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund, the international charity working to save the world's last remaining Mountain Gorillas and keeping Dian Fossey's dream alive for the past 28 years. Luckenbach Blues Fest returns to celebrate 7 years of blues and soul on Saturday, Jan 25th in Luckenbach! Performances include: Van Wilks, Texas Tornados, Nicholas David and more. Dance hall access is sold out. This year’s Blues Festival is dedicated to Larry Monroe. Larry was our Blues Fest Emcee for the last 3 yrs.
