Hey Austin! What are you doing this weekend?

The 2014 Ride • Drive • Give charity dining event benefitting the Center for Child Protection will be at the Circuit of the Americas Saturday, March 22nd beginning at 9am. Ride Drive Give is the ultimate experience for diehard gearheads. Donors and participants can enjoy a day of racing and driving right on the word-class Circuit of the Americas track, whether you're taking your own car for a spin, driving the track in other available exotic cars such as a McLaren MP12, or testing your skills in a wet and dry timed autocross program. But the real highlight will be taking a ride in a modified Formula 1 race car with a professional Grand Prix driver. You haven't experienced driving until you experience the thrill of going from zero to 60 MPH in 1.8 seconds. For more information, click here.

ROCK Barn Dance will be Saturday, March 22nd at 6pm at the R.O.C.K. (RIde On Center for Kids) (2050 Rockride Lane, Georgetown). R.O.C.K. is a Georgetown-based nonprofit providing equine-assisted activities and therapy to those with cognitive and physical challenges. On March 22, ROCK is celebrating 15 years of “Healing Thru Horses” in the Austin area. “True Grit” is the theme for the 2014 Barn Dance fundraiser, celebrating the strength, courage and perseverance of not only the center and its horses, but also the clients and volunteers that come through the center’s doors each day. Presented by Sport Clips and H-E-B’s Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust, the True Grit Barn Dance includes a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, interactive games, TapSnap photo booths, and a walk down memory lane with archived photos of R.O.C.K. printed on canvas, courtesy of Ideal Signs. Country music star, Mark Chesnutt will be the evening’s headlining entertainment. For more information, click here.
