Home sales remain at a record high as we move into Q4 2019. October reported 2,860 homes sold, a 12 percent increase over this same month last year according to the Multiple Listing Service Report from the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) which reports on all areas contained within the MLS. Both average and median sales prices showed healthy growth as well, with an average sales price of $277,680 and a median of $235,700. The month ended with 3.7 months of inventory available, indicating a continued sellers’ market.

In Bulverde, the median price was up 0.7% compared to last year. Average days on the market were up 36 days to an average of 65 days. The overall number of closed sales was small with a total of 8.

In Spring Branch, the median price was up 9.9% to $395K during October. The number of closed sales fell 19.4% to a total of 29. Even with the fewer closed sales, active listings were up 35.9% with a total of 174 on the market this October.

Median price rose 7% in New Braunfels. Closed sales were also up to 15.6%. Average days on the market at 85, which is 24 days more than last year. Active listings were up by 1.8% to a total of 634as of October 2019.
