January ArtWalk - January 4th 

Hosted the first Friday of every month, ArtWalk is the perfect time to enjoy all that the local creative community has to offer. Hosted in downtown Corpus Christi, there is no shortage of food, music, and entertainment. Join local artists and creatives at booth and enjoy specials at downtown venues as well. 


Seafood Wars: Winter Delights - January 15th 

If you’ve not had the chance to check out Seafood Wars at the Texas State Aquarium you won’t want to miss January’s event “Winter Delights”. Showcasing the theme ingredient Red Snapper and featuring competing chefs from Fajitaville, The Post, and South Texas Sushi. You’ll be able to sample tasty dishes from these chefs and vote on your favorites! 


Super Battle Danger Karaoke X Benefiting The Historic Ritz!

One of the iconic venues in Downtown Corpus Christi has always been the Ritz theater. As restoration efforts have begun to preserve this historic landmark the community needs your help and your voice! Super Battle Danger Karaoke X is a one of a kind Karaoke contest with contestants participating in exciting challenges while performing karaoke. To participate in this event you’ll have to apply online but open karaoke will be open from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm!


A Winter Evening of Folk Music - January 24th 

A great night to unwind and enjoy some great music at a great venue. A Winter Evening of Folk Music hosted at Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon in downtown Corpus Christi is a free event with some great folk artists. Featuring the talent of Jimmy Willden, The March Divide, the Josh Glenn Experiment, and Yosh & Yimmy. Starting at 9pm, this is sure to be a great wintertime event!


2018 Texas Filmmaker's Showcase / STUFF Film Festival - January 27th 

Join the Houston Film Commision’s 2018 Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase at Alamo Drafthouse in Corpus Christi, Texas. As part of the South Texas Underground Film Festival, the Houston Film Commision’s Showcase will give you a chance to view some films made in the Texas area from Dallas, Austin, Houston, and more. Along with viewings of these movies there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers afterword. Be sure that you look at the schedule for the full list of films and showtimes.
