One of the fastest growing communities in North Texas, Saginaw (home to now 12,000 plus residents) still maintains a strong hold on its small town lure and down home charm. Located just 10 miles northwest of Fort Worth in central Tarrant County, Saginaw is a charming suburban residential community that began as a pre Civil War agricultural settlement called Dido. Its neighbor to the northwest, Eagle Mountain is a similar (yet slightly smaller) unincorporated town of near 7,000 people. Bordered by the southeastern shore of Eagle Mountain Lake (a beautiful 8,700 acre boating and fishing paradise with white sand shores) residents of Saginaw and Eagle Mountain enjoy the fruits of one of north Texas' most beautiful yet often overlooked lake areas. Students living in both Saginaw and Eagle Mountain are served by schools in the Eagle Mountain Independent School District.
