Fresh Plus, Randall's and an H-E-B provide groceries, but there is also a weekly farmer's market at The Triangle just two miles away.

There is no shortage of great places to wine and dine close to Bellaire. Three craft beer pubs, The Pour House, The Growler Room and the Yard Bar, are all Bellaire favorites serving up locally brewed beers and ciders. The Barley Swine is a gourmet restaurant that specializes in dishes made from "snout to tail." Dishes like pigskin noodles, parsley croissants made with bone marrow, and pork shoulder encrusted in cracklings are part of the chef's table menu. An extensive dessert menu follows, featuring roasted strawberries in a wine reduction and chocolate-covered homemade candy bars.

Bellaire is a great community for people who are interested in preserving vintage homes in an active neighborhood but close to downtown Austin.
