who we are.

Founded in Austin, TX in 2000, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate HomeCity was one of the first full-service real estate brokers to leverage the Internet to provide our agents with pre-screened referrals each and every month. At the time we had 3 full time photographers that went to each new listing that came on the market daily. From these photos we uploaded them into the web for clients to see each and every day. We have come a long way from our grass roots efforts although we still provide the same great service.


Today our team provides agents and clients with the very best tools available in the business. It starts with our top-notch customer service team, who is always available to take your calls. After getting the preliminary information, the customer service team picks the most qualified agent for that particular client and hands over the referral. We work with some of the best agents in the business, and take pride in the caliber of service that we provide. Our in-house marketing and technology departments work with the agents to make sure the buyer or seller has all mediums available to help them along the way.


Our agents have access to some of the best technology available to ensure clients receive the highest level of service. Our highly visible website updates throughout the day to provide up to date information, while our custom back end CRM makes managing clients a breeze. We strive to meld the best possible agents with the best possible technology for an unrivaled customer experience.

Qualities we look for

  • You have closed at least $2,000,000 in sales in the past 12 months.
  • You have a strong and proven background in sales.
  • You are comfortable with technology and web-based tools.
