HomeCity Real Estate will be collecting food to donate to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas through December 20, 2013. We will have a drop box open at our office in Bee Caves. If you would like to collect more donations or need a box, they are available at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas office or at our office. Please call ahead to check for availability of the boxes.

• The foods we are collecting:
• • healthy non-perishable food
  • items with intact, un-opened, consumer or commercial packaging
  • items with non-breakable packaging (no glass please)
  • food within the expiration date on the packaging

• The following items are the most requested:
• • chili
  • dry beans
  • canned stews*
  • 100% peanut butter
  • whole wheat pasta
  • whole grains (brown rice)
  • whole grain, low sugar cereals
  • canned meats (tuna & white meat chicken)*
  • canned fruit (in its own juice)*
  • canned, low-sodium vegetables*
  • canned, low-sodium soups*
  • canned, low-sodium, no added sugar pasta sauce*
  • full meals in a can/box
  • pop top food items
