Digital Marketing Lead | Austin, TX


THE JOB:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Lead to assist the VP of Marketing with all digital initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with the leadership team to execute multi-channel digital plans aimed at building brand awareness, lead generation and talent acquisition. You will work on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, online advertising, content/influencer outreach, as well as email marketing and social media program management.


The Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for managing a small team of in-house and outsourced contributors, including freelancers responsible for building out content for SEO, digital marketers as well as our website vendor. To have success in this environment, the candidate must have strong project management skills and be a strategic thinker to not only execute tasks assigned to them but develop plans, budget, follow up and pull resources together to accomplish goals. This role requires an individual with a positive, team-oriented attitude, who is not afraid to share new ideas and engage in conversation with leaders and peers.


Execution in this role is critical and the right candidate will have proven, quantifiable experience building brand awareness across multiple platforms. Agency experience or a demonstrated ability to be effective is strongly preferred. You must be able to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns on social media, blog, email, newsletters, the website, and several other platforms. A working knowledge of current digital marketing tools and strategies to help develop campaigns from concept to execution is paramount. Knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices will be necessary. Strong copywriting skills are a must.


KEY FUNCTIONS:

Strategy: Analyze market trends and recommend changes to our digital marketing strategy based on numbers, analysis and feedback. You will collaborate with the Agent Marketing Lead and Creative Services Lead to execute (creatively, and locally) based on these trends.

SEO/SEM: Liaise with our SEO vendor to oversee proper implementation of best practices, ensuring our website rank continues to grow. Plan and execute all web content, back linking, SEO and SEM.

Digital: From Facebook ads to Community Management, you will be responsible for keeping our brand in front of our target audience while sticking to an allocated quarterly budget. You’ll report back on what worked and what didn’t and look for new ways to connect with consumers in meaningful and valuable ways.

Email Marketing: You will develop and grow our email marketing campaigns for the both the company and agents, as well as oversee content for our bimonthly newsletters.

Content Distribution: We create a lot of great content on a regular basis- from helpful guides and resources, to video campaigns, blog posts and infographics. Your job will be to strategize how to get this content in front of more people. You will be responsible for developing distribution strategies on the company level as well as providing framework for a plug-and-play solution that every agent can use. Your KPIs will be reach, likes, subscriptions, back-links, shares and brand consistency.

Social Media Management: Optimize and grow all social accounts, management accounts on behalf of agents through our management/automation software. Lead social media strategy for each individual market by collaborating with the Agent Marketing Lead and local Marketing Associates to establish brand voice, while positioning the company as a hyper local lifestyle and real estate resource in each market.

Front End / Website Initiatives: You will be involved in the optimization of our website as it pertains to marketing and lead conversion. From layout design to copywriting to blog management, to UI/ UX - your job will be to create a seamless, intuitive and aesthetically-pleasing experience for every one of our users.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a digital marketing environment or agency
  • Extensive knowledge of digital advertising networks (Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, YouTube and more)
  • Strong writing skills and ability to produce copy that converts
  • Able to develop, launch and manage effective email marketing programs aimed at recruiting top talent and lead generation.
  • Experience using digital marketing software, programs, and applications
  • Experience managing SEO, PPC, and retargeting programs
  • Ability to multitask, manage projects, delegate and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of making critical decisions and thinking strategically

Creative Services Lead | Austin, TX


THE JOB:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Creative Services Lead to assist the VP of Marketing and lead all creative initiatives.


As the Creative Services Lead, you will be responsible for managing the output of creative projects - from concept to production - for both individual agents and the company. Your job will be to organize and plan the creative process to ensure highest quality assets are produced with a focus on photography, videography, graphic design, print design, presentation design and digital.


We’re looking for someone who can keep current on design trends and best practices while staying aware of new tools and innovation opportunities to evolve processes and creative direction.


You will responsible for translating marketing objectives across channels into clear and motivating creative strategies while working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, ranging from brand, media, content, PR, product development and sales.


KEY FUNCTIONS:

Art Direction: Provide creative direction for website photography, social media accounts, video, as well as individual agent brand development.

Print Design: Lead development of new print campaigns as well as the execution and optimization of existing programs. You will own the editorial process for our Quarterly Magazine in each existing and future market, along with all print marketing programs including agent branding.

Digital Design: Create beautiful digital presentations and templates for agents. This will also include the design of user experiences on the website and other digital projects as needed. Develop, improve, and propose new initiatives and ideas to elevate the site constantly.

Project Management: Articulate concept and vision of creative projects effectively to the creative team. Ensure timely completion of projects and ensure brand compliance.

The Marketing Associate is responsible for bringing our core marketing products and services to each of our agents, reporting directly to the Agent Marketing Lead. You will act as the client service representative for a group of offices and the agents based out of them.

We have established and continue to optimize several key marketing services and product offerings which help our agents organically grow and expand their personal business. Your job will be to drive program enrollment and evangelize our agents to our products and services via training and the development of unique marketing strategies to propel the specific objectives of their particular business. This may happen in group meetings, 1 on 1 presentations or ongoing training sessions.

You will need to understand our offerings intrinsically as they evolve (we are always adding services and optimizing older ones) and be able to relay value behind each program/ product.


KEY FUNCTIONS:

Account Management: You will manage the marketing spend and budgets of our top producing agents and will single-handedly execute proposed marketing strategies.

Project Management: You will oversee the execution and creative production of agent marketing campaigns including, but not limited to print, video, design and digital marketing from concept to completion.

Customer Service: You will act as the first and primary point of contact for all marketing requests for local sales agents. Our agents are our customers and our goal is to bring concierge-level service to each and every one of them. Your success will be measured by your ability to problem solve effectively.

Local Strategy: As the local marketing expert in your office/region, you will be responsible to providing insight into the marketing needs of your local area as if affects content, social media and other mediums. You will work collaboratively with other MA’s and our Communication Manager on local and company event execution and be measured on agent engagement, participation and attendance.

Brand Ambassador: You will act as the local brand ambassador for HomeCity by highlighting local events, in-office culture and identify success stories to share on social media to further establish our brand in the marketplace.

Listing Marketing: Creating marketing materials utilizing Marketing Department templates, including listing and buyer presentations, custom social media graphics, open house flyers, and various listing marketing materials.

  • Experience in a marketing, advertising, public relations or customer service role. Real estate experience preferred but is not essential.
  • Recent graduates with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/ or Illustrator experience + relevant degree or internship experience and encouraged to apply as well.
