By now, most people have used the vacation rentals website, Airbnb, as an alternative to hotels while traveling. More often than not, these rentals come with more space, a unique atmosphere, and a cheaper price tag.

However, Airbnb is not always the cheaper option. One of the most expensive Airbnb’s in the country is right here in Austin, Texas renting for a cool $10,075 a night! To be fair--the listing sleeps 16 guests in 8 bedrooms that span three separate houses. It’s located in Clarksville and is mainly intended to host large groups during the annual SXSW festival, although they will accept renters for other events throughout the year

Our friends at Simply Self Storage recently compiled a list of the most expensive Airbnb rentals in the top searched-for Airbnb destinations in the United States. From Hawaii to Las Vegas, they list some seriously posh diggs (and a few that are seriously overpriced). See them for yourself below!

 

2. Kailua-Kona, HI | Hualalai Villa ($7,100/n):

Hawaii’s gorgeous big island plays host to this luxurious villa, which has played host to stars like Cameron Diaz and Stevie Nicks! It’s truly fit for royalty with its stunning ocean views and easy golf course access. Guests can watch the sunset while relaxing by their infinity pool and sipping a Mai Thai. Built and designed by an award-winning architecture team, its open-concept layout includes a fully equipped chefs kitchen and outdoor garden showers!

3. Denver, CO | Home Host Event Farm ($4249/n):

Just outside Denver in nearby Boulder, Colorado, this sprawling mountain estate is advertised for graduation parties, weddings, and family reunions. Guests can enjoy the mountain views by the pool, or interact with the horses, goats and other farm animals on the property. It even has a private lake!

 

4. New Orleans, LA | 295 Walnut ($4,000/n):

This property’s location is one of its best features, located near Audubon Park in New Orleans. The home may be a bit overpriced, but if traveling with a large group it’s not so bad. The home sleeps 12 people in six bedrooms and six full baths, with two half baths. It features a saltwater pool and heated spa, for a place to relax after a long day exploring the city. The interior reflects New Orlean’s southern charm with vintage accents

5. Chicago IL | Wicked West Loop Loft ($3,250/n):

This fully-functioning, 11 room bed, and breakfast is the perfect place for large parties. The property is over 100 years old and is a former publishing house, restored and updated into a B&b in 2017. It can fit up to 24 people comfortably and guests can enjoy amenities like a complimentary, made to order breakfast every morning.

6. Orlando, FL | Reunion Zero ($3,242/n):

This impressive Orlando property can fit a small army, sleeping up to 34 guests in its 14-bedrooms and offering 16-bathrooms. Inside, it’s equipped with multiple living and kitchen spaces, a gym, a spa room, elevator, game room, and even a golf simulator! Out back, guests can enjoy their own, private mini water park! This is definitely the place you’ll want to stay with a large group in Orlando. You could always rent a car to get to this extraordinary destination.

 

7. Key West, FL | Southern Hospitality VII ($2,910/n):

Also in Florida, this beautiful property can be found in the Keys. Known for their impressive beaches, the Keys are one of the more popular vacation destinations in the U.S. The property itself has everything needed for a spectacular trip, boasting a huge living area, kitchen, pool, and tall privacy fence. The outdoor area is set up with a BBQ and lounge chairs for a grill session after the beach.

8. Las Vegas, NV | Villa Shangri-La ($2,500/n):

In true Las Vegas fashion, this luxurious mansion has all the appointments to make their guests feel like royalty. They offer world-class amenities like a 24-hour butler, private landscaping, and Zen-inspired decor. Inside, you’ll find four bedrooms, four living areas, six bathrooms and more. Outdoors, there is a pool and full outdoor kitchen. Guests even have the option to hire a private chef for their stay!

 

9. Nashville, TN | The “W” Nashville ($2,500/n):

This is another one that we’re pretty sure is a bit overpriced, but that doesn’t take away from the beauty of the property! An outdoor entertaining area and fire pit invite guests to unwind after a day exploring the city. Its four bedrooms can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably, and its ample parking will make travel a breeze for large parties.

10. Atlanta, GA | Atlanta Estate ($1,600/n):

This home sleeps 16 people in eight bedrooms, making it a decent deal for those traveling with a large group. The beautiful home features an outdoor area complete with aquatic pond, waterfall, courtyard, fire pit and plenty of space for entertaining. Inside guests can enjoy a private theater, library, indoor diner-themed bar area and game room. While the property could use some professional photos, it seems like a nice choice for Atlanta visitors.
