The Austin Business Journal has named it’s 2014 Best Places to Work in Austin, and HomeCity Real Estate ranked number 3 in
the medium size category. The brokerage was honored at their annual luncheon on June 26th, 2014 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

Each year, the ABJ uses an external firm to confidentially survey employees and assess their happiness in the workplace. The top performers are then ranked in the categories of micro, small, medium and large. Qualifying companies are ranked based on their performance in areas such as company climate, workplace atmosphere, leadership and management, compensation and benefits, as well as growth and development.

“We are incredibly honored to be ranked among some of the greatest companies in one of the greatest cities in the United States! HomeCity was founded on the idea that supplying a healthy company culture is important to our success. We strive to create an environment that promotes creativity and personal achievement,” said Keith Dunham, C.E.O. at HomeCity. “Without the people we have nothing, and we all realize that. This honor only fuels our fire to achieve, and we will continue to go above and beyond the industry’s norms.”

This will be HomeCity’s first year to be nominated and recognized, which reflects the mass amount of growth HomeCity has experienced over the past year.

“We’re always thinking of new ways to recognize our agents. From quarterly recognition events, to Circle of Excellence awards, we want our agents to know that they are all a part of HomeCity’s success,” said Dunham. “We’re listening to the agents wants and needs, and trying to innovate ways to help our agents get more business. Our technology, sales, and marketing departments work together to ensure that our team members are proud to call HomeCity their place of work.”
