AUSTIN, TX - January 17, 2014 - HomeCity Real Estate partnered with Foundation Communities Friday, January 17th to plant trees at two communities in South Austin under the Green Building Initiatives. HomeCity worked with Michael Harris and Charlotte Bumbulis from Foundation Communities' Sustainable Projects department. It was a bright, beautiful, slightly chilly day, perfect for working outdoors in Austin, Texas!

HomeCity Real Estate agents that participated met at Cherry Creek Duplexes and then traveled to the Buckingham Duplexes to complete the project. After a brief training session on planting trees, agents planted 10 trees throughout the Cherry Creek Duplex community and and 21 trees throughout the Buckingham Duplex community.
