Temple, Texas saw it's median house price drop by 8% this year compared to last December. Active listings are also up by 0.3%, but the number of closed sales are down. This could imply growth in the market's inventory which could keep houses on the market longer.

Some good news out of Belton demonstrated median price was up 44.1% this December compared to December 2017, however active listings on the down by 5.4%. Average days on market were down on average around 5 days, meaning fewer homes are in the market for a shorter time and is increasing prices in the market.

Killeen saw some decline this December, as home sales were down but median price rose. The trend could be in part to the shrinking inventory as active listings were down 16.8% compared to December 2017.

Average number of days on market in Harker Heights dropped 15 days less, compared to December 2017. Median price and closed sales both dropped 10.3% and 5.4% respectively, compared to December 2017.
