Temple, Texas saw it's median house price rise by 5.8% this year compared to last January. Active listings are also up by 2.2%, and the number of closed sales are up by 17.2%. This could signal that the year’s usually active summer season is off to an early start.
In Belton the median price was down 46% this January compared to January 2018, however, this might be due in part to the small number of closed sales in the market. Interestingly, the number of days on market rose to 85. This added on average 20 more days on market to this time last year.
Killeen saw some decline this December, as home active listings were down 26.7% with a total of 393 active listings. Closed sales and Median price showed minimal changes overall with 192 closed in January a change down only 0.8% compared to last year.
The average number of days on market in Harker Heights rose 20 days, compared to January 2018. The median price was up 2.5% to 198K and closed sales were up 93.3% compared to January 2018.
